Hi, All I have is praise for Dr Boothe. My eyes were horrible after going to another doctor in Dallas. Dr Boothe Repaired my Eyes to 20/20 and it might evern be better than that. I am amazed at what I can see. It is like superman. I love it and makes me feel like a kid again and I am 69 years old :-) Very Happy here.

Being able to wake up every morning and actually see the alarm clock is something that I thought would never happen again to me. Since my experience with LASIK, I feel that I have been blessed with a miracle.

A few hours after the surgery I removed the protective glasses, looked at a tree in the distance (200-300 yards away), and tried to focus on the fine structure of its leaves. To my surprise I was able to see almost every leaf, the different shades of green, and the tiny vibrations in the wind. My limitations were gone, making me feel younger, and giving me a future filled with clear horizons.

Dr Boothe's office is a Very comfortable setting. Every one treated me like family. The surgeon made me feel very relaxed before and during the procedure. The doctor answered all questions I had. Everyone one in the office was very friendly

If you are like me, you are very concerned about your eyesight and the well being of your eyes. Dr. Boothe has provided me with excellent care and has proven to be very proficient and professional while treating me. He will continue to be my doctor of choice and I highly recommend him to anyone needing eye care.

It is now 4 days since I had the LASIK surgery performed by Dr Boothe and I am extremely happy!!!

The day after my surgery my post op examination revealed that my vision in my right eye was 20/20 and in my left eye 20/25.

My family is really amazed that I don't have to wear contacts or glasses anymore. Infact, I have some cousins in Pensacola that want to have this procedure done on them after talking to me. They definitely want it done!! Well, I definitely recommend it!

But, anyway, I am so very happy and pleased with the outcome. I think my vision has even improved in my left eye since last Friday. I will know for sure this Friday as I have another examination that day.

Hi! I just wanted to let you know how I've been progressing.

I had my week's examination last Friday, Nov. the 7th. My vision in my left eye has improved from 20/25 to 20/20. I am now 20/20 in both eyes. I already noticed improvement in that eye three days after surgery. So, I was right!!

I am really happy with this outcome. I'm so glad that I did not have to have an enhancement done. A gentleman that was ahead of me on the day of surgery was in for an enhancement in his left eye. He had quite a bit of astigmatism, though, so maybe that was the reason he had to have this enhancement. Since I don't have any astigmatism in either eyes, that probably played a big part in the success of my surgery.

I don't have to be back for another examination until the first part of December. Everything is going real well with me and I don't anticipate any problems. I am being extremely careful with my eyes. Only two more nights of having to wear the eye shields and two more days until I can wear make-up!!! Yippeeeee!!!

Dr Boothe is the Best!

He might be a good doctor, too soon to know yet, but the way he speaks to his staff in front of his patients is inexcusable. Dr. Boothe, this patient WAS NOT impressed and was actually a little traumatized by how you treated your employees during surgery. They are human beings and should be treated with dignity and respect. That side of you is better left hidden from people you are getting ready to operate on because by the time you got to me I was scared sh*tless. I hope you were just having an off day and it's not like that all the time but if it is, please think about the impression you are making on your patients when you treat your employees the way you do.

The man could care less about you or your eyes. YOur just another number to him. He doesn't explain anything ..read this and sign and then he has the right to destroy your vision with no recourse.

He almost destroyed my vision. He recommended two other procedures to restore what he ruined. If I hadn't sought out another doctor...my eyes would have been beyond repair..

He had done 2 operations and wanted to do two more.. My eyes are not for experimenting...he should have said the restore lens doesn't work in 1 or 2 % of patients and it needed to come out. He wanted to leave it in and continue to tinker with it. I could only see large black letters on white. I could not see any light print on a light background and could only focus after 30 seconds on a word. No sight reading for me..He proclaimed me 20/20 because I could see a black letter on white...he wouldn't listed to me explain how my eyes were working.

I passed the test so he proclaimed me a success ...although I couldnt' read a page of book.

I saw 3 other doctors and none agreed that his 'fix' would work...I had to have the lens removed and replaced by a top doctor.

RUN don't walk away.....

This scorecard by 'DallasBill' puzzles me for a few reasons, making me question its honesty.

1. Why pick a man's name of 'Bill' when 'DallasBill' refers to herself as a female patient?

2. It appears 'DallasBill' connected to our site from a computer in the state of Washington. This doctor is in Texas. The word 'Dallas' in the username makes it appear that the patient is in Texas. But the internet connection appeared to be from Washington.

3. We received a threatening piece of email claiming to be from Dr. Boothe shortly before the comments on this scorecard were edited. Coincidence?

Thank God...I finally came to my senses and realized that Dr. Boothe was playing Russian Roulette with my eyes. He did two operations and planned two more.

I finally got 3 other opinions...no one agreed with him.

I had another doctor take out the Restore lens Dr. Boothe put in and replace it. Don't let anyone tell you that this lens works if you really need to see accurately, to look at numbers for more than2 hours, and to see at night...Read ALL THE WARNINGS.

Have your lens replace with the mono vision...

This doctor is dangerous!!!. He just wants your money.

Ok, so I'm reading 'DallasBill's' GLOWING scorecard and it sounds like total crap to me! Looks like someone 'cut and pasted' different things together to make a phony scorecard that sounded somewhat believeable. Problem is, it's not believeable AT ALL and in fact, it sounds completely bogus...like someone is trying to do some 'damage control' for Dr. Boothe.

First of all, what kind of name is DallasBill if this scorecard was written by a female? Secondly (and this is the biggest load of crap in the whole scorecard) DallasBill says that she is 69 years old, yet her 'husband and two small daughters' witnessed the surgery via a monitor in the reception room. WHAT 69 YEAR OLD WOMAN HAS TWO SMALL DAUGHTERS? HELLLLOOOO? Can you say RIDICULOUS?

DallasBill edited the scorecard today to take the part out about having 2 young daughters at the age of 69.

There have been some wild claims made about this doctor. To be fair, I tried investigating the doctor at the Texas Medical Board. You can see the details here:

An observation.......

Admin comment: DallasBill edited the scorecard today ...

Admin comment (from blog):

This is the first doctor to resort to these unethical tactics. Most doctors are good and this one lone doctor does not represent the majority.

Dr. Boothe: When you read this, I suggest you contact Bill Stanley, the spammer, and tell him to stop damaging your reputation more than you already have done for yourself.

For everyone else: We stand up for your right to speak freely. Don't let anyone ever intimidate you to give up your rights.

==============================================

Dear Admin:

I don't believe you could have presented the situation in a more just light. This situation does appear to have become quite bizarre for I've noted that you offer doctors who may have been unfairly criticized a number of options -- none of them include utilizing criminal tactics.

I thank you, most kindly, for your service. I believe it is beneficial if people can speak candidly of their experience. Although it is apparent that many people have had unpleasant experiences, it is equally apparent that many people think very highly of their professional caregivers.

I have taken the liberty of sharing this site with friends and family, far and wide -- from Boston to Singapore, London and Melbourne. I'm sure your website is considered useful and appreciated by many, many people. Thank you for the opportunity to not be intimidated into silence.

I had my surgery in Feb. and I had choose the momo vision, I have been happy with the reading eye but can not see at a distance very well with the other eye. I go back in for an adjustment in a few weeks. My biggest complaint is he is not a personable doctor he does to talk to you while he is doing the procedure help confort or explain what he is doing. The Biggest complanint is the office needs to learn how to schedule. I have been on 1 apt. that was not a long wait. My last apt, was at 10:30 I walked out at 2:30. Some of us do have to work but that does not seem important to them.

DO NOT GO TO DR. BOOTH!! They do NOT care about you postop! They shove as many people through the door as they can, but once you walk out they DO NOT care about you. My husband had his Lasik with Dr. Booth in December 2006. He paid 3300.00 for his surgery with a promise of 2 years of aftercare and guarantee. A month after surgery he was continuing to have halos in his vision. He called to schedule an appointment for this. Several weeks later they could get him in. He waited for 2 hours before they could funnel him through. Then the doc who followed up with him spent less than 5 minutes with him and jotted down a prescription for eyedrops. My husband was furious about the quality of service and felt the doctor didn't really listen to him at all. He said it was like the guy was giving scripted answers. He used the eyedrops and surprise they did not work. My husband said he'd rather pay a copay to see another ophthalmologist than to be treated with such lack of interest or care and getting stuck in a waiting room for hours. This is vision we are talking about. This isn't a cut on a finger! So for the past 1 1/2 years my husband has been seeing Dr. Tony Tao to try and help him with his eyes. He still has halos and his eyes dry out so bad it causes him pain. He is constantly putting drops in his eyes and has had punctal plugs put in several times to try and help. I've insisted he go back to Dr. Boothe to try and see if he can get them to actually listen to his problem. I called and I get a very polite sweet introduction and a this is So-and-So how can I help you. I tell him what's up and he's all, Oh you have to talk to postop. See they are NICE to you when you are a new patient looking to plunk down several thousand dollars. Then I get postop, which is answered by a monotone short clipped person who told me the first available appointment she can get me is 1 1/2 months away. I told her I want a full exam done on my husband, not a 5 minute conversation, and someone to seriously look at his eyes. I would NEVER EVER recommend Dr. Booth. Go somewhere else where they spend their dollars in providing quality care and not all in advertisement and hype.
