When I see a doctor, I ask a lot of questions and ask him or her to explain everything. With Dr. De Lopez, I didn't even have to ask. She took the time to focus on me as a human being as well as a patient, and offered not only medical expertise but warmth and humor as well.
As a side note, I went to see her about a surgery I had as an infant, and that I have check ups for every few years. I'm in my 30s and have moved around a lot, so I've seen many gastroenterologists. Dr. De Lopez was the best of them all. As another commentor wrote, I wish she could be my doctor for everything.
