Doctor Thomas Panetta has been an extremely important to me and my family. He has operated on my Mom for multiple vascular surgeries, including an emergency bypass. He is a seasoned, skilled doctor with an amazingly calm bedside manner. His staff is held up to the same standards. They are each knowledgable about my Mother's case and are always professional, kind and personable when dealing with my Mother and my family. Dr. Thomas Panetta is highly revered in the medical community - especially at Staten Island Hospital. As soon as it is heard that you are his patient, you are immediately treated with a high regard and ALWAYS informed of what a great doctor and person he is, and his staff and that you are in excellent hands under his care. My experience has been nothing but the above. After every surgery he comes and and discusses to me and my brother, in detail, how my Mom is and what was done to her in the surgery so that we understand clearly what is going on. Another important plus for any potential patient to know is that Dr. Panetta communicates with all your other doctors regarding other existing medical conditions to discuss prescription changes, doses and discuss any potential issues. And his staff is always on hand and familiar with my Mother's medical history to get in touch and discuss any concerns with the doctor. If anyone would need to know anything about this doctor I would tell you exactly what was told to me, and it has been my experience and surpassed that. You need not worry - you are in excellent hands. He is an extremely brilliant doctor, with an incredible staff, a wonderful bedside manner that will put you at ease instantly...and you are in the Best of Hands. My family and I completely trust and admire Doctor Panetta, including his staff, and we are grateful to have him in our lives.
