This office treat me very bad, waiting long time to see a doctor, after i paid the total amount in cash that was covering all the Spence, two months latter there was a lab charging me for the lab test, after 6 months calling and talking to the office's employees i m getting calls from a recovery agency and still waiting for DR fox to fix the problem.

On Oct. 14, 2010 I went to get PAP smear , she came in asked what I am here for and proceeded to start exam.. In the mean time I explained to her about a vaginal discharge I was having. She said it was normal and brushed it off. And quic kly left with no other words said. Of course it was NOT normal I know my body.. No one called me with the results I had to request results be faxed to me. I took these to my primary and he prescribed Diflucan because I had a yeast infection. I then made another appointment with her for a different matter. After waiting in the the office a nurse comes in to tell me S. Fox had left for the day. and I would have to re-schedule or be seen by another doctor. Of course I choose to be seen by another doctor, I was already there and had waited. This doctor comes in I explained what I was there for and again complain about my discharge. He prescribed fluconazole and suggest he take a culture which he did. A few days later the office called me to prescribe metronidazole because my discharge was gardnerella and candida. The point is I as a patient complained about an issue and Susan Fox was UNWILLING to listen and go another step further as a docotor she should have order more tests. She is rude and uncaring! I will NOt be seeing her anymore...

I was apatient for Dr. Fox since 2001. I was treated with different doctors at her office but I got to say that the two times I was seen by her were very unconfortable she is rude and both pap test were positive and I had to repeated again. when seen by Dr. Paulin or Rounan even Dr. Dunking once was completely different. I defenetily will change doctors I am a pretty healthy woman age 35 and i just did my anualy check up with dr. fox and came out positive. Only with her is this things happenibg. I would look for a second opinion even if this means I would have to pay for it. The office staff is rude and the result lady terrible they dont return your calls not mentioning the Sonogram lady the one with the long black hair she is nasty and rude as hell!!!. for all of them there one thing to say , there is a god who is watching you and would make you pay every suffering you have caused to others.

Pavilion for Women's Care is by FAR the worse Medical Practice I've ever been to. I started seeing Dr. Susan Fox in 2008, and agree with ALL the comments that state she is cold, incompetent and just rude. After you wait on hold forever to get an appointment, you wait over 2 hours to actually see the doctor, except you end up seeing a nurse b/c Dr. Fox is never there! I always specified to the staff I ONLY want to be seen by a lady doctor and even thought they confirmed that Dr. Susan would see me, on the day of the appt. she was not there! This happened almost EVERY time I went there.

I began my journey at Dr. Fox's office in February 2005 while I was pregnant with my son, and I was a patient there until I had my daughter in June 2006. Every appointment I ever had, the wait was always AT LEAST 2 hours. About 2% of the staff there is half-way fluent in the English language. So, you wait for 3 hours, get stuck in a room with a nurse who you can't even understand (and she can't understand you either), then Dr. Fox comes in, gives you a 3 minute exam and leaves. No 'Hellos,' no 'Goodbyes,' nothing. Thank heavens, I saw the midwife and Dr. Runyon for most of both my pregnancies (he also delivered both my children). I would not recommend Dr. Fox to even my arch nemesis. She's is cold, incompetent, uncaring, and basically just rude. Good luck to anyone who braves that forsaken office. And to those saying she's an amazing doctor... I think we're talking about different people here!

I completely agree with your comment.the wait is 2 hours or longer!! absolutely ridicuous! The staff is extremely incompetant..losing things, not speaking english and just basically RUDE!

I Do not AGREE an I only speak English. Doctor Fox is a good Doctor in so is her brother she was very caring. Even thow Doctor Runyon deliverd my baby I would say thats the best please for pregnent wamen.

I was pregnant with my first child and diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Ges. Diabetes increases the chances of having a still born and therefore I was put on a strict diet to control my blood sugar. I was also required to see 2 different specialists 2 times a week in addition to my visits with Dr. Fox. During my 37th week they found that the baby wasn't growing and they would need to induce. Dr. Susan Fox told me, 'Well if you would eat and not starve yourself the baby would be growing.' It wasn't like she hadn't been rude to me before with snide comments. I just couldn't believe how insane she was. I was eating 6 times a day, all healthy meals, I was walking for exercise, I was sticking needles in myself 3 times a day to check my blood sugar level, I quit my job so I could rest more and not have the stress. Here I was doing everything I could to ensure a healthy baby and she treated me like some shallow bimbo that only cared about her waistline. I also question her qualifications. After I gave birth I developed a rash on my breasts. When I asked her about it she said, 'I have no idea what that is. You need to see a dermatologist.' The dermatologist took one look and said it was due to my breasts getting bigger and moisture getting trapped in my bra that caused the rash. He gave me Naftin and it went away in 2 weeks. However, he couldn't understand why Dr. Fox wasn't able to diagnose the rash since it is extremely common for pregnant women to get. Please take my advise and find another doctor. Dr. Fox has kids and does research things. She is rarely the doctor you'll see for your appointment and hardly ever delivers babies. Thank God!!! I guess that is the only positive thing you could experience. So I must say even with her fancy credentials she looks much better on paper than in person.

I went to Dr. Susan Fox's office this past spring, and I had a horrible experience there. Going to the gynecologist is bad enough, but Dr. Susan Fox and most of her staff do not care about the patients. The one 'receptionist' who takes your insurance card acts as though you are bothering her by being there. You are herded from one waiting room to the next. When you are asked your personal medical information, you are talking to someone in a room without a door when you are disclosing private information. This is clearly a HIPPA violation. The waiting room is about 10 feet away and people are walking back and forth - there is no privacy . Then when I saw the doctor, she didn't even introduce herself. I had asked to see the nurse practitioner when I made an appointment there. Only did she say who she was when I asked, 'Are you the nurse practitioner?' A couple of weeks later, a lay person who barely speaks English called to give me my lab results over the phone. When further questioned about the interpretation of these results, she could not answer. Why is Dr. Fox having someone who isn't even in the least medically educated call people with lab results? Then when I went there to get a copy of my lab results as I vowed to myself that I would never step foot in that place again, I had to PAY to get a copy of my medical information. The overall feel of the clinic is uncaring andextremely unprofessional. Most ob/gyns take you into their offices once the exam is over to discuss further issues. Dr. Fox did not do this at all. I will make it my mission to deter any woman I know from ever stepping foot into that office.

I went to Dr. Susan Fox's care for my first pregnancy. Upon my 16 week blood work, she called to inform me that my baby could have down syndrome and I had to have an amnio. When I asked about my option for abortion, she said I would not have one even if my baby had the syndrome. When I cried and asked some more questions, she said to me 'You need to chill, you are overreacting'. Very rude and uncaring. Do not go to her!!! She cares more about her research than about patient care. In addition, months later, I am being billed for the services she sent me to and will not bill my valid insurance. I am now 34 weeks pregnant and still dealing with mess ups. Horrible experience. !!! My baby is healthy and no issues at all throughout my pregnancy. In fact, my new doctor said he did not understand how she arrived at that conclusion as he would not have sent me in for those numbers. So I suffered for two months and through an amnio for NO REASON. Nice, huh? The irony of all this is that when I ask about Susan Fox at Baptist Hospital and at various Dr offices, everyone seems to 'know what I am talking about'. I guess Im not alone...

I never did get a chance to even meet the doctor, she never even came out of her office since her staff turned me away. The nurses in the front are rude, impatient and incompetent. After a 3 hour wait, they could not find my insurance information, advised me that I didn't have active insurance (which I confirmed later the nurse lied) They told me to call back and make another appointment when I receive my insurance cards in the mail and that they didn't have time for this. I was in a lot of pain and never even got a chance to talk with Dr. Fox. It was not meant for me to see this Doctor and I do not recommend her or her lousy staff to anyone.

I cannot agree more with how rude and incompetent the staff on North Kendall drive were! I was not too fond of the many plasma TV and the loud Hollywood movie either... I had to ask the nurse to turn the TV off in the examination room! 'You no want to watch TV?' She asked, wearily... no! I am here to see my baby on the screen, and talk with a doctor to determine if every thing is going well. Does her office look like a prenatal care office? no. The other office downtown is ditry and disorganized, not to mention the dozen of exotic birds in the atrium...
I was disappointed by dr. Fox. She is the worst doctor I was given to meet. She did not seem to have any connection with or interest for her patients. I cannot assess her schooling or professionalism, but I did not feel that I was in good hands. She did not examine me during the first visit, and she did not ask any personal questions. She spent even less time on the second visit. My results were only given to me after I begged to see them, and they were never explained. It is my first baby, I had high hopes and a lot of questions. When I burst into tears because I felt so vulnerable and uncared for, nobody seemed to even notice. Not a single kind or hopeful word regarding this marvelous baby to be.
I am changing doctor, I cannot go through my pregnancy without adequate care. I also decided not to give birth in Miami.

I am very happy to have read the comments on this doctor. I totally agree with the negative comments. During my first appointment, I waited 2 1/2 hours to see the doctor. When she came into the examining room, she did not even introduce herself and rushed through my 'examination' which took no more than 3 minutes. She rushed, and as a consequence, completely misdiagnosed me. She prescribed a medicine which, had I continued taking it, would have only made my condition worse. I was tempted to return to her office, as a follow up visit, because I was feeling terrible. I then decided to google Dr. Fox and found this site. After reading the others' comments, I decided to see another doctor. This one diagnosed my case correctly, and after just 2 days, I felt much better. I am writing because incompetence, especially in a doctor, is completely unacceptable. She is dealing with peoples' health, and she doesn't seem to take this seriously. I urge anyone reading to NOT see this doctor. The consequences could be fatal. Grateful for this site and the comments.

my clear reason for my score is this...i agree with the other girls rating on this site. i found a lump on my breast. it took me courage to go forward and seek help. my grandma died of breast cancer at my age. i am a single mom of two young girls. i am alone here with no family. i really needed help. i bought insurace through my job and they gave me her name. i went to her and the office was beautiful and a nice staff but not the greatest in the world. i felt confident in the surroundings at first. dr. susan fox examined me and sat down and wrote a prescription for a mammogram and stuck her hand out to give it to me and did not say a word. i was so confussed and asked am i going to die. she said, ' i dont know'. that was it. i continued to probe her for some comment of any kind about my situation. it was as hard to get an answer out of her as it was for me to get my ex husband to admit he cheated on me. really she is insensitive, uninformative. she rushed the entire visit. she had me feel like i was the walking dead and the worst thing she had ever seen. thank the Lord i found the baptist medical arts center and got my mammogram. it is a large cyst. dr. fox had me in tears and i had become so upset i did not eat and became sick. i missed work also. but now i am hopeful and because of baptist med arts center i will make it thought this. dr. fox did not have enough intelligence to know my 4 cm mass would need an ultra sound so i had to find a new doc to get that presciption for an ultra sound. i am going soon. dr. fox never called me on my mammogram results. also i heard from a professional in the medical field that dr. fox is quote' a nut case' also a friend of mine was mis diagnosed with an STD. a second opinion proved dr. fox wrong. i called her office the other day and complained to the staff of dr. foxes comment that she did not know if i would die. their comment was...oh she was just kidding..just kidding?? okay then, Dr. fox..nutcase is a nice word for you. i have special ones for you. but since i hold more class in my pinky than you will ever have i will be nice and tell you just one word i have for you and that is ...karma. by the talk of the town and this site and unfortuatly the many woman to follow us...you got some mean karma headed your way...well diserved.

All the persons in Flagler Building: labs, nurses, receptionist are Good!. I agree with Jane, my point of view is S. Fox is not a very good doctor. She was very intolerant, nothing patient, in my first appointment with her. I went to the doctor's office to know the results of analyses bleeds and sonogram. Dr Fox I indicate that all the results were 'Normal'. But I knew that with sonogram that they did to me they would not detect a polyp (detected 6 months back in other place), and wanted to solicit if they could do sonogram of the transvaginal type, to confirm. When saying to him this to the Dr. Fox, her treatment and way to speak became more disagreeable. I supposed to be able to ask questions about my analyses but i couldn't, its behavior seemed to me very intolerante, nothing patient. Happily a nurse approached and she took care of to me amiably, already feeling to me better, came to ask for it. Finished this, when leaving the doctor's office I began to cry. This never had happened to me. Right now I am communicating with my insurance to change of doctor, since my husband and I want to have a baby and this type of attention seems to us unacceptable.

The office staff is great and the other doctors that work with her are also very nice... however she is not a very good doctor in my point of view. When you go to a doctor you are supposed to be able to ask questions and you expect to me treated with respect and be given a response with respect towards you. She literally started mocking me when i would ask her questions and laugh at me like if i was a moron. I was pregnant with my first nany and there were things i wanted to know and i guess she thought I had also gone to medical school or something but it got to the point that when she left the room i couldnt help but cry because i was so frustrated that someone could be so rude. My husband was so upset also because he saw the way she treated me and the way she would answer my questions.

Wow, this site has been an eyeopener. I am so glad I came across it because now I have a better idea what this doctor is all about. I am in shock about some of the stories I read, it is unbelieveable that this doctor is still allowed to practice. I was considering changing my Ob/Gyn of 10 years to this doctor because of insurance reasons but after reading up on her I have had a serious change of heart. I will stick to what I know and stay as far away as possible from this doctor. Sorry all of you went through these bad experiences but thanks for sharing and keeping others from making the same mistakes.
