2	2007-2008	I decided to go to Dr. Fox after I had unfortunately changed health insurance plans. She was on my list and close to my house. My very first visit, I was going to have my first pap and I also had my first yeast infection. I was very nervous. When she walked in, she did not even introduce herself. She did not take any history and just proceded to do the pap smear. I then introduced myself and she then said hello. She did not talk to me the entire time. At the end, I had to ask her if I had a yeast infection because she did not tell me anything. She then responded with'It looks like it'. I was so scared for my first visit and she did not make me feel comfortable or at ease. However, she gave me something for my yeast infection and said goodbye when she walked out. I decided to go to her for my second pap, a year later. My test came out abnormal and I had to ask all the questions because she would provide me with only one line answers or say its no big deal. My situation was a big deal to me. She seems very aloof and not structured. She doesn't remember some of the things she says and forgets to do things unless you bring it up. For example, in one of my visits she mentioned how she was going to give me the Gardisal vaccine. At the end of my checkup, she didn't tell the nurse to administer it, I had to remind her as as she was half way out the door and the people n the hallway could hear. She didn't even say goodbye to me with that time either.That's another thing, there is no patient privacy which is illegal and regards HIPPA. In another instance,as I was signing papers for a procedure that I had to get done, there were people around me looking at me waiting for their own documents. I was embarrased. It was bad enough that the doctor who read me the results did not go over the papers I was signing, but to have to have no privacy in signing these papers!! The office staff also stinks. In one instance, I was coming in for a follow up, and they couldn't find the day I came in for my pap smear. They said they couldnt do the next procedure because they didnt have records of me being there. I was almost in tears. The lasy in the front desk said to me' You can't get divorced without being married first' I was like you have got to ne kidding me..what is that supposed to mean. I told them that I was indeed there and that they need to find my resultys and record of me being there. At the end of the day, they did. I should not have had to have gone through that. The office staff is rude and disorganized, and I like professionalism, especailly with doctors and a gynecologist. Another thing is the wait time. Every time I have gone, I have waited a little over 2 hours! I am not sure how it is at other places, but there it is bad! When it comes to your health, you should find the best doctor for you..and should take it seriously. Dr. Fox and her staff are extremely unprofessional and are not polite. Dr. Fox is absent minded, not warm, and not thorough. Those are important aspects of having a Doctor, and she does not embody those traits. I would definetely not reccommend her at all!!! I am sorry that you had this horrible experience!! It is my mission to spread the word and hopefully save people from the same experiences that people have had over and over with Dr. Susan Fox. We are just a tip of the iceberg. Two of my friends know her and feel the same way that I do - she's an awful, awful doctor!

I'm sorry your experience (especially your first!) was so bad, but you are not alone! You are absolutely right. BUT she's not the only GYN there, so you're in luck. If you do have to return to that forsaken hole, try to get an appointment with Dr. Runyon . He deals more with the OB part of the practice, but he has a great 'bedside manner' and he's much more approachable than The Fox.

I'm sorry you experience was so bad with her. She seems to brush everything off like it's nothing. Fox was listed as my main doctor for both my pregnancies, but I saw Runyon and the (WONDERFUL) midwife for almost all my appointments. Dr. Runyon actually delivered both my children... I don't think I could have dealt with the Fox in the delivery room.

Oh my God! I feel so bad for you & CarrieLee, I know exactly what you're both talking about!!! She's a horrible doctor. I had a similar, maybe worse experience than you did. I know exactly what you're talking about regarding privacy and the fact that she doesn't explain anything. When my pap came back abnormal she said the same thing 'it's no big deal!' I was shocked since it had NEVER been abnormal before. You are correct in EVERYTHING you say about the staff, they're completely rude and incompetent. Especially the one in the front desk (JUANITA) and the Billing Dept. (Fernanda). I'm still trying to resolve an issue where they didn't bill my insurance correctly and I ended up paying over $250.00 out of pocket when my insurance covered the entire procedure! It's so sad to hear other people have been wronged in similar ways. Some testimonials are awful!!! I lost an ovary but I read a comment by a woman that couldn't get pregnant and it was just devastating. Someone should really do something, but t's not possible that this doctor is still practicing! PLEASE, DO NOT GO TO DR. FOX. Keep reading other comments and read my story too, if you're not convinced. I wish I had read all this BEFORE going to see her. What a mistake that was!!!
