I attended the Family Dental Clinic in March of 2012. I was looking to have implants done on a few of my teeth. Right from the start I was caught up with the glitz and glamour of his office and the way his staff made me feel special. I was ushered into a private office (with my husband) where the entire consutation too about 3 hours.  Dr. Steve stated (after looking at my exrays) that I needed to have my teeth (both upper and lower be removed).
Before I knew it I was scheduled for the extractions. When they found out that I couldn't afford both upper and lower teeth implants the cost of the upper extractions doubled in cost.
After my upper teeth were removed and they had my money everything changed. The denture that I received was too small and ascue. The staff treated me differently. I was no longer important. When I went in for a soft liner replacement, which is free and as often as needed, it was as if I was a bother. I felt apologetic for being there. Even Dr. Steve was less then friendly then he was at the beginning making sacrastic comments towards me even when I was told by staff to just show up when necessary. 
It was determined, after several painful appointments, that my denture was not fitted well to my mouth. I was advised to wait 6 months before getting fitted with a new denture. Knowing that I was scheduled for a new denture and having seen them book the appointment, I waited until September as advised. I even passed over getting new soft liners, which were very much needed as my mouth was in pain and I had difficulty eating. When Dr. Mascarin saw me after a desperate need for a soft liner replacement, he stating that I was done and a hard lining would finalize everything. Through his receptionist, I requested a consultation with Dr. Steve and his denturist, Gisele. Neither of them attended the meeting. His assistant, Katherine, covered for him... not once but three times.  Each time offering a lame excuse as to why he wasn't there. Our final meeting (with his staff only) where I expressed that my teeth looked like the actor, Gary Bussey, he, Dr. Mascarin (apparently while on the phone and in traffic) conceeded that I should recieve a refund.   
I lost 36 pounds due to this. I had to pay another denturist, to rectify their mistakes. 
PLEASE do not confuse a glamorous office for the work you will recieve.
