Dr. Amersi was unwilling to spend time answering my questions.  I was actually her senior partner's patient, and the office insisted I see her a couple of times incase she ended up delivering my baby.  After those two visits, I was convinced that her style (of answering only the questions she deemed important enough), and not being willing to spend time in our appointment did not fit our style.
Unfortunately, the senior doctor was on vacation starting the day after my unplanned C-sec, and Dr Amersi ended up covering for him.  The hospital called her at night for pain relief medication (they needed her to prescribe for me) when I was in so much pain that I could not sleep.  In the morning, she yelled at me for waking her up in the middle of the night instead of waiting till she came in the morning.
She wrote up discharge orders without even consulting me, that discharged me from the hospital two whole days before I was ready, and before the insurance no longer covered my stay. (C-sec allows 5 days, and she wrote discharge papers for 3 days).  When the nurse told me that I was going to be discharged, and I told her that I was not leaving, then the doctor had to be called for new orders (as she had not even discussed them with me).
I was discharged on the weekend, and her office failed to send the pain meds prescription to the pharmacy.  When I called he on the weekend, she told me it was my fault for not following up with the pharmacy during office hours, and that she will not help me till Monday.  Mind you, I had just had a c-section, and she wanted ME to ensure that HER office filled my prescription.
Overall, she made me feel helpless, and worthless with the way she treated me.  I was shocked that someone who has had children could have such little sympathy for a patient of their own.  I was also shocked that an OB was upset that she was called on the night and weekend.  Last time I checked, people were still having emergency c-sections, and babies in the middle of the night, and OBs are expected to be availble 24/7 for that.
I would never recommend her to anyone.
Her partner, Dr. Yashari, is amazing.  If you do select their office, I would recommend you use him.
