Visited Dr. Smith recently regarding skin problem. Dr. Smith looked at my condition and said it was psoriasis, although it clearly wasn't. His demeanor was rather rude and unpleasant, and he didn't even bother to ask for a history of my condition. Had he done so he may have ruled out psoriasis, but it just seemed as if he didn't want to invest the time. Dr. Smith should be avoided if it all possible......I learned more about my condition by doing Google search than visit with Dr. Smith. I ruled out his diagnosis after researching for only about 10 minutes. And to think that Doctor Smith has 29 years experience! But the worst part of the visit had to be his overall demeanor. He entered the room and didn't even look at me, much less shake my hand. He was also in and out very quickly, and didn't ask the questions he needed to ask to make a proper diagnosis. In fact, he didn't really ask me anything. While physical inspections are essential, they often do not tell the whole story. Insurance: self-paid |
