You're lucky that your father got out of there before it was too late. Lallemand ruined peoples lives. He ruined marriages. I also heard that he was sleeping with more than one of his patients. He turned husbands into ghosts of their former selves and wives into prostitutes. I hope he never gets licensed again.

I cannot help but to disagree with you about this doctor...He has to have proof to give medications.Not all people taking pain medications end up being an addict and that is just plain judgement towards people who are chronically ill and instead of the pain meds messing their life up it brings quality to their lives, an appetite again...being able to work again...I am sorry your father had that type of a personality, but not all do...I don't...If u came to my family and spoke to them about the difference in how I blossomed healthwise being with doc L, and how I am down to 96 libs since' they ' took my doctor away from me...My family would tell a different story then yours.I needed the medication to help me live to the best of my ablity under the conditions i have.I did't look sick anymore! I could function like you take for granted b/c u may not have the ilness I have.DR L looked at each individual and helped to make them live life to the fullest....I personally responded very well to his treatment plan for me, and my family was so happy to see me looking like i used to before i got sick! So I would say if my whole family saw a change for the better with me, then there is a time to use pain medicine...My family watched me spend most days in bed before dr L helped me.They Love him for what he did for me and my family is quite disturbed he was set up by some political junk along with people who's families had trouble with their loved ones for they just so happened to have addictive pertsonalities...But why take that out on the doctor. The same kind of treatment i received from this same doctor didn't turn me into a drug fiend and change me for the worse!!It did the opposite! It gave me an understanding about the difference of proper use of medicine and abuse of medicine....My family was happy in the chnage of my personality for I was so happy to shave my legs again and get to the bathroom in time when I woke up in the morning! I could cook and clean again! I could drive places, and socialize...My family didn't ever know what i was taking for I waqs very private about that for many reasons, but everyone thought i was on my way to getting better, an being myself agin!...So these stories about poples families being upset concern me as apparently your loved ones were not taking pain meds just for illness & pain...they have emotional issues they were using the nedicine for...and some of us don't do that kind of thing , so it is so wrong to takre our lives away...Now one bad apple spoils it for all the sincere people who blossomed from the medication, and used it for the intended purpose are being harrassed , as if we r drug addicts, too...NOT fair...that Many people and families have to suffer who was doing well and able to have a wok life and social life and spend time doing quality things with their children...It's all going in favor of forgetting the people who didn't abuse these meds, but used them to live better,,,Not to lay on the copuch watching TV popping one pill after another!That is what I don't want! I spent a year in bed and tried so hard to get out and function but just could not di it...Why take away a good doctor who was brillant and helped more then not, why take him away?why take our medication away when we never abused it?It did us well?!You comment that ur family member has their life back going off meds,,,Well it;'s the other way around for me and my family...We want Dr L back and this cow towing to the abusers  left alone, and deal with the people who the medicine sincerely helps!..Now My family and I have what to look forward to ?I am losing my life.....My family losing me and my presence in the house hold as my illness takes over my life again, Not the pills that took your family members life away..The pills helped me gain my life back again....to be able to exersize...to eat with my family and to go have fun together! What is wrong with the insight of this world we live in!!?It's all so wrong what people like me  get ...nothing...and I do believe.Dr's should be allowed to continue to give pain medication to people, as they see fit for their patients.It's so inhumane to take away medicine that helps people b/c a few abuse it.And belive me..those abusers will just go get another drug...off the streets, while we who really got a life back b/c of medicine no longer can have it b/c of these same people who will go get street drugs..they will get some substance to abuse to escape their emotional pain...and that is said.but don't take me and others lives and ruin it when we were really getting helpe!
And don't believe all these rumors about Dr L...He never aske for more then what my medicare covered! He helped my daughter for free for her insurance wouldn't let her ger NRI's...He is not money hungry!He is compassionate! and has done treatrments for free for people who had no other way!So many have the wrong idea....So sad...I am hardly able to function again and in agony and I am not alone I am sure!!!!
