I too feel that Dr. Liljeberg looks unkempt and greasy. His looks were not as important to me as his skills. He may be a good surgeon, but he has a lousy bedside manner. Does not care about what his patient is feeling, shows no compassion, appears to be phony and condescending. I felt like a cow being led to slaughter. Rush me in, no discussion before surgery and no follow-up after surgery. One of his staff said he mostly did surgery and left everything else up to his staff -- that he did not like patient interaction. Also watch your bill; may be charged for items/shots, etc. that you did not receive. As stated before he may be a good surgeon, but if you have any complications afterward good luck in getting help from him or his staff. The more I dealt with his staff, the less of a fan I became. I suggest you ask around and find a doctor that cares. Someone told me Dr. Parcell in Lincolnton is good and takes the extra time to do stitches, not staples. This is an example of a doctor that cares. I believe I will go to him for my other surgery, I know I will not go to Dr. Liljeberg.

Dr. Liljeberg Is a wonderful surgeon... he was not unkempt and greasy the man works extremely long hours... I don't require a perfect bedside manner which he did have with me. I am looking for a doctor not someone to cry on their shoulder...
