Richard J. Fischel destroyed my life, or at least my quality of life. He performed what's known as ETS surgery on me in 2006. ETS is considered elective surgery but he convinced me of its benefits in curing sweaty palms and facial blushing. He told me the side-effects were few, mainly some compensatory sweating that soon went away. Not only did this doctor lie to me about the effectiveness of the procedure (it cured neither the sweating or the redness) but I now suffer terribly from excessive sweating all over my body, especially chest and back where it always looks like I ran a marathon. In my opinion Fischel is a quack, out to make a quick buck. I had the operation done in Huntington Beach but he also works out of Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA and St. Joseph Hospital in Orange. Watch out for bad doctors like this one, you'll regret it the rest of your life if you don't.
