I've had 2 surgeries with Dr Bosile for bunion repair. Two and a half years later still having problems. I wanted to be able to dance at my daughter's wedding but while I was 9 mths post op, the pain was terrible. Had several other opinions (nobody ever wants to touch another surgeons' work). Had and MRI, CAT scan. Finally a simple xray showed that the bones were maligned in the right foot and had to undergo additional surgery to remove a small bone and a screw that was out of place. Now, I have a shortened tendon and there appear to be few options open. It appears the bones were 'over corrected' on the initial surgery.

As a professional person, on my feet all day, this has been an unpleasant experience. While I think Dr Bosile is competant, his feeling of overconfidence in solving my problems has lead to some uncomfortable/painful experiences for me.

My biggest gripe with this whole experience was getting Dr Bosile to believe that there was a problem post operatively. He kept saying it was part of the healing process while I was barely able to walk almost a year out and developed other problems like weight gain from not being able to exercise, back pain and depression.

While I can walk now without limping and my subsequent back issues have resolved, I wonder where I would be if I hadn't been persistant, annoying and pushy.
