I have dental insurance to cover most of my bill.  I needed a partical plate for the top and bottom.

The dr. sent to a Prosdontis(implant Dr)  wanted me to agree to implants never telling me the total cost.  Also, since his office hours were from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm; that would have me leaving work early/coming late to work.  I would be losing money and time; but Dr. Kamel was like so what.

I decided not to do the implants and went back for my scheduled appointment, I was told by the doctor not to come back.

I find her behavor to nasty, unprofessional and that she is only in the business to make money.  Her concern is not with her patients.

I have worked with this doctor for years and have never heard of anyone having the experiences you describe. She is a very caring doctor who always has her patient's best interests in mind.  The doctors cannot control the hours that a specialist operates and if she felt that your case was complicated and needed a specialist like a prosthodontist then she obviously was not after your money. There must have been a reason why she felt your case could not be treated by rt1dental and sent you somewhere else where there were specialists to take your case. Remember that not every patient is a candidate for certain procedures.

I have also had a bad experience with Dr. Kamel.  She is definate  only cares about money.  She rarely has the time to give her patients.  If anyone asks too many questions, she immediately refers them out.  The last comment mentioned rtdental where Dr. Kamel worked.  I am not sure if she still works there because she has not been there in a long while.  However, after she referred my child to a pediadontist, I went back to the office to see the other dentist.  Dr. Tractman and her staff were amazingly patient and kind with my child.  As you can imagine, after such a harrowing experience with Dr. Kamel, it took a great deal of patience to help my child with dental needs.  I am happy to report that my entire family now is amazingly happy to go to that office but my child still mentions the 'Scarey Dentist' Dr. Kamel

My experience with doctor Kamel has been great. She is very knowledgable and caring about her patients.

Patients discuss with Dr's of what they want and can afford to pay.  Instead referring me to a Denist that can do a simple bridge; instead Dr. Kamel referred me to one the most expensive Denist in the state of New Jersey who does not take insurance.  He only wants cash ($10,000.00) upfront for his service.  One more thing, if anything goes wrong for the patient, he is not responsible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I was referred to a specialist for a complicated procedure and my experience was good. The quality of service that I received at Dr Kamel and the specialist was great. The specialist accepted my insurance and there were no payment issues.
An average person would understand that the general doctor does not control the schedule and fees of the specialist.
