I have been a long time patient of Doctor Tuakli and find that her approach is abrupt at times, but note that a great doctor has to be truthful and forthcoming no matter how painful that may be for the patient. Sugar coating health is never a good idea. She is knowledgeable and friendly. I have gone as far as sending my daughter to her as well ( she's great with kids by the way). I do have to wait quite a bit to see her, but find that the best doctors have alot of patients and she really does work hard at assuring every patient with a need is seen timely so small concerns don't become large ones. She knows the other medical professionals in the area and gives great recommendations when a referral is needed. She takes almost evey insurance company on the planet and if you are forthcoming and need a paymetn plan if youarent' insured she helps then too (if you are already a patient). If you haven't seen the updated Columbia office - you've gotta stop by. It's so chic and inviting. Great job Dr.Tuakli - for those who have been with you for over 15 years we applaud you! |
