Dr. L'Esperance is extremely thorough and sends me for lots of tests, but it always takes at least 3 weeks to get another appointment to review the results. I asked to be put on their cancelation list in case something came up sooner, but the Receptionist said that I would just have to call every morning and see if there were any cancelations-- she would not call me. Once my appointment day finally arrives, I never wait less than 30 min. I usually have to wait for about 45 minutes or longer (for a 10-min appointment). Dr. L'Esperance has a nice manner but does not follow up on things quickly. She just seems too busy and can't manage to stay even close to being on schedule. I wait forever to get in and then am rushed out quickly. Since very few doctors in Victoria are taking new patients, there is nothing I can do. I just have to put up with the system.
