Insensitive, cold, and heartless...that is how my Mom, who is 79 years old, described her first meeting with Dr. Michael Overby. Her surgeon, Dr. Mitchell Levine, was out of the office and could not remove the staples in her back after her surgery. Dr. Levine is not only talented, but kind. I can't believe how callous Dr. Overby was towards her...how he hurt her. Her back is black and blue, and extremely sore; he plucked them out very fast, not stopping as my mom pleaded to go slower. He made a comment to her, 'this isn't any worse than labor pains, is it?'. He said this with a cold, sarcastic tone. What kind of a doctor does this? What kind of man makes a 79 year old woman cry? I am sickened and furious as I write this.
