I have seen dr Austing for several leg and shoulder related injuries. I have ALWAYS found him to be very knowldgeable, compassionate and empathetic. He is also open to others ideas and truly listens to his patients. I unfortunately developed a DVT (blood clot in my leg) afte an ACL reconstruction. When I called his office with my suspicion 2 days post surgery, he was out of the office with a minor eye injury. He came in to 'see' me any ways and sent me for a doppler which confirmed my suspicion. It was a HUGE DVT and put me in the hospital for a very substantial stay, and on heparin injections for 6 months. He was very supportive in his care during this ordeal.
