The sample comment on this site seems to pull for negative reviews and I've read the ones on here for Dr. Esposito. But my review is nothing but positive. I have been her patient for years and have come to know her quite well. She is a very caring person who channels this incredible compassion into her job. She has an outstanding work ethic that few can match. She truly wants to help others achieve their dreams. She gets to know her patients and partners. She is a major advocate for our health and well-being. Sometimes this means suggesting courses of action that are less than our ideal. I would guess most women would want to get pregnant with their own eggs. Yet there are times when that cannot happen. Dr. Esposito will suggest an alternative, one that will improve the chances of a positive outcome. Yes, Shady Grove is a huge practice but based on my numerous interactions with her, she is fighting for the patient and not the company's statistics. She knows the chances of getting pregnant and does her best to offer us good or decent odds. If our own eggs are no longer good, then she'll suggest donor eggs b/c the odds are better. That might not sit well with others who ideally want their own genetic history; yet, it depends on your ultimate goal. If the goal is to have 'a' baby, then their donor egg program is there to help. If that doesn't work, their surrogate program is there to help. It can be difficulte to face the reality that things aren't going well, that there might be serious issues, that becoming and staying pregnant might not work. But she is the best person to have on your side in these moments. She has an infectious positive personality. She reaches out to you when you experience loss. She displays incredible empathy. She is very competent and knowledgeable. I have never met a better doctor or person.  |
