I received a breast reduction almost 5 weeks ago. Being so young and in college I was quite apprehensive to this surgery. I knew it was something I wanted done in high school and just kept putting it off. In college, I grew to another size and when I came home over Christmas break I decided that in the summer we would try to have the surgery. The consultation was made at the beginning of the summer, and we even scheduled the day of the surgery then. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and he was easy to understand. He knew how a teenage girl feels when they can't fit into swimsuits and shirts because of their breast. Dr. Codner had a good sense of humor to him, which I loved. His office staff took care of everything with the insurance company. All I had to do was write a letter and email it to his office. I felt ready for the end of July and was excited all summer long. The day of surgery was relaxing in my opinion with no stress, just excitement. He made them absolutely PERFECT!!! I never knew breast could look SOOO good and they are finally proportional to my smaller frame. He called and checked on me through the weekend and squeezed me in for appointments right before I left for school. Dr. Codner listens to his patients and I truly appreciate what he has done for me. I feel so much better mentally and physically. I wore a swimsuit less than a week after surgery. I just went to the beach this weekend, and have been able to exercise without multiple heavy-duty sports bras. Friends and family are jealous and ask if I would do it again, and without any hesitation I say yes!! |
