I agree with the post that i just read. This guy is a horrible vet. I have gone to him for many years and he wasn't always like this. I had a horrible experience today with my border collei lab mix. She is 9 years old and has only gone to this practice. She is suffering from mild hip dysplasia, which we told the dir. about for the last 3 years. As my dog was on the exam table, with her tail between her legs, he proceeded with the exam. When he got to her left hip and pushed it up to her rib cage, she yelped in pain. Rather than stepping back and reassuring the dog he again touched her hip to give her her injections. I was holding the dog on a short leash, with my arm around her neck. He threw up his hands, said he couldn't continue until she was muzzled, then proceeded to reprimand me for not reacting appropriately, with anger, when she barked. He said that my dog exhibited agressive behavior and he would continue only with a muzzle from now on. Last I knew, a dog with her tail between her legs isn't particurlarly agressive. Upon reflection lf this incident, I don't recall this guy ever really interacting verbally or physically with my pets...no scratches behind the ears or good girl, etc. as most animal lovers would respond. I don't think this guy even likes animals....he's too interested in his piercings and getting autographs of country music stars. Spend a little extra money and find someone who actually likes animals. He's a jerk.
