I went to this guy cause  he took my medical coverage but next time i'll pay out of my pocket , his office was dirty, he never changed his gloves, his dental tools were mixed up in a draw, I went for a simple cleaning..it took 5 mins...I hope people can find a better dentist and not chance your health and safety with this one.  their was no waiting to see him cause his office was empty.  theirs good dentist in the Queens area...try one of them.. Good Luck

Thanks for creating a scorecard, mike09.  I'm not sure I follow you on a couple points in your comments:

1.  You say he never changed his gloves.  You also say there was no one in the waiting room.  So, if you were the only patient there, why would he have to change his gloves?  Maybe he put that one pair of gloves on just for you and no one else?

2.  You say his dental tools were mixed up in a drawer.  I really don't understand what the complaint is here.  The tools are in a drawer... seems like a good place to me.  I don't understand the 'mixed up' part or how this could be a bad thing.  How many tools are there for a teeth cleaning?

Personally, I like it when the waiting room is empty.  It usually means there is no wait.

If you want to clarify the points above, it may be helpful for others reading your scorecard.  Thanks for your time.

Respectial Dentist will always put on new gloves infront of the patient , he could of had then on all morning, and with infections 'Maybe' is not a option...dentist tools are usually in a steril closed bag that he opens in front of you...

If a waiting room is empty , I begin to wonder why.,and when I was called..I was in the chair for 5 mins , x-rays were taken on a  old outdated machine , if all dentist were like him...I'd never go

PS with bad dental coverage...you get what you pay for

Great points, mike09.  It would be more professional of a dentist to demonstrate to his patient that he ran his office in a clean way to prevent infections.  Even if everything were on the up and up at this office, it's a great idea to make it obvious to the patient that his tools and gloves are sterile.  Putting on clean gloves in front of a patient and opening a bag of clean tools in front of the patient does sound like a good way to run a dentist's office.  But this dentist didn't do that, so I see your point.

JUST WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW ,THE SAME THING WAS TRUE WHEN I WENT TO HIM. NEVER AGAIN

I had the same experience with this guy.  I am sure he is experienced and respected.  But, after going to another dentist because Dr. Bruckner was not open, I began to wonder.  The dentist put his gloves on in front of me, took out sterilized tools out of a closed bag, etc.  I have never seen this with Dr.  Bruckner.  He just lost another patient because of this.

I agree with everyone. He shared his office with someone else, it's old and doesn't really smell clean. I went for the convenience because he took myself and my daughter on the same day. All we wanted was a cleaning. He took x-rays on an old machine, his tools looked dirty and something was actually wrong with the cleaning machine. I told him to forget it and that we would just leave. My daughter has had better dental coverage and better dentist. Thats what I get for being lazy. Never ever again!

Omg, I am glad to know I wasn't the only one. Dr.Bruckner was a nightmare!! I had a cavity that needed to be filled and a cleaning done. His office was empty and indeed smelled old.He did work on me with out using anything to numb my gums,I had told him that i was in slot of pain. Unfortunately I had not been to the dentist in so long,I was not sure what was normal procedure till After Dr.Bruckner when the new dentist looked at me horrified as I told her my experience. He filled me cavity and proceeded to scrap me teeth with that hook device and that was considered a cleaning. He then proceeded to build up one off my tooth's,saying that it needed to be done,He explain that it would feel weird at first but i would b OK after a couple of hours. He did not provide me with ANY WATER to rinse my mouth out, I actually went into the bathroom to rinse with the sink to get rid of the debris,He didn't even told me to do so. When i went home after taking ibuprofen, I noticed the tooth he built up was so high up that i could not close me teeth together!!!I couldn't eat because of it, I mean it was so high, i couldn't chew. My tooth was still hurting and i called telling him he needed to fix his mistake AS.A.P., He told me that he had years of experience just so i knew, I told him that if that was the case why would he build up a tooth without my permission and make it so i could not chew. Why would he drill a tooth with a cavity without anything to numb my tooth and how the heck do you not provide a cup of water to rinse?!!!I went back and he filed that tooth down. My tooth would still hurt on and off and i refused to go back to Bruckner so i found a new dentist. TURNS OUT BRUCKNER PUT IN A TEMP FILLING,NOT TELLING ME AND APPARENTLY THE FILLING CAME OUT AND MY CAVITY WENT DOWN SO FAR THAT I HAD TO GET A DAMN ROOT CANAL,THANKS TO HIS ''PROFESSIONALISM''. I WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS TWISTED DENTIST AGAIN AND I HOPE TO GOD THAT THIS REACHES OTHERS BEFORE HE HAS A CHANCE TO TORTURE THEM!!!!!!!
