I have been through at least 5 vets in this town and had not found one that I liked. A friend finally referred me to Dr. Kaufer when she was just opening up. She's very friendly, and dotes on the animals -- to me this is important. If I don't feel like you like my dog, then I don't want you for my vet. She also will not recommend every test/medicine etc in the book just to get money out of you. She'll recommend trying the cheaper things first. (Unlike the other two dr's that she has working for her, unfortunately.) I never have to wait in the waiting room for very long, there's usually no one else there, or sometimes only one other person. They're not the cheapest around, but they're not the most expensive either. I think it's so worth going there that I drive 45 minutes to an hour from my house to get there. |
