I was treated by Dr. Smith approximately 18 years ago, for TMJ.  I had braces, and was extremely pleased with my results, so much so, that I just referred a friend who has been waiting for years to be able to have braces, and who also has TMJ and is a much more difficult case than I was, according to Dr. Smith.   

A few years ago, when I sustained two very badly fractured front teeth from an accident, after I had those teeth bonded, Dr. Smith made me a new retainer at no charge.  Not too many doctors would do that for you.

I highly recommend Dr. Smith and the results that I have as a result of my braces are fantastic.  I have no more ear or jaw pain as a result of the correction of my bite, and I can not stress enough the importance of patient compliance in wearing the retainers that will be provided to you at the end of treatment.

UPDATE:  The office staff is still first rate. (  I accompanied a dear friend who just got braces today.)  Although there are only a few of the same people there as when I was treated by Dr. Smith, the 'new' members of the staff are just as professional and meticulous about their work as those I knew from before.
