Botched lab test request. Forgot to request cholesterol test. When asked to include STD testing, gave lecture about HIV testing probably being unnecessary, but only requested HIV test; no other tests. At actual physical, realized cholesterol test was missing. New test request and additional appointment (which dr. charged for). When asked about STD test, dr reported all test were negative - true, but he didn't mention that most the tests were never conducted. This was the point I decided I was through with this dr. He doesn't seem old enough to be that absent minded, but not a dr you can trust. |
