I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Allison and her colleagues. I have been taking my twin 4 year old boys to her for three years and assuming we don't relocate we will be with her until they are ready for college! I have actually had to alter my daily route when I'm running errands and have the boys with me because they see her office building and insist on stopping to say hello to Dr. Allison. She treats the children like they are her own, she gets on their level, talks with them, teases them - she is incredibly gentle and careful with them. Throughout the years when we have needed urgent care, she fits us in within hours regardless of how busy she is. She has taken meetings with my husband and I to discuss vaccines and has been very agreeable to spreading them out because it makes us more comfortable. When one of my children needed a neurological evaluation she made sure we were seen within a week instead of the 2 months that the neurologists office first offered us. She or her staff always follow up on the children to make sure they are improving and they are always patient with phone calls and questions - being a first time mother I have had many! I cannot recommend this team highly enough. All the doctors we have seen at this practice have been compassionate, the nurses are loving and kind, the administrative staff always welcome you with a smile and will do anything to make the visit as easy and pleasant as possible. The only downside is that there are times you will have to wait longer than your sc heduled appointment time to be seen but you will quickly learn that the reason is that Dr. Allison stays with each patient until every question has been asked and the parents feel completely comfortable. I would much rather wait and get that personal attention than be seen on time and rushed through. |
