Many years ago Dr. Severson performed ear surgery on my teen age daughter and he is possibly the only MD I have absolute faith in. He neither speaks "down" to you nor above your limit of understanding. He explains procedures with a matter of fact attitude and never has the "I'm the DOCTOR" air so many specialists seem to be afflicted with. He doesn't hide the complications or the margin of error factors but will leave you with the confidence that he knows what he is doing and will do the absolute best job he possibly can. Isn't that what we all want from a physician?
