This dentist is the worst dentist ever because he told me that I had several cavities that I did not have. He overtreats and drills out more of the tooth than is necessary. For example, not only does he just drill out the center of the tooth but he will also drill out the sides of the tooth and in between the teeth when it is not necessary. For every side or surface that he drills out of on each tooth and replaces with a filling, he charges more and therefore makes more money. This is very unethical. Anyone who has had a bad experience or problems with this dentist should make a complaint to the Michigan State Board Department of Community Health. The phone number is 1-517-335-0918 or go to the website www.michigan.gov He needs to have his license revoked so he can stop harming people and the only way to do that is to make complaints with the state.

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. I wish I saw the other ratings before I went to him. I had the same issue as others -- he told me I had all kinds of cavities (my previous dentist was very thorough...I found this hard to believe), and he was going to start doing work without even explaining anything to me and never looked me in the eyes when he was talking to me. He ended up drilling out the filling from a root canal I had years ago, and now it is hot and cold sensitive. I am also wondering if he drilled too much out and if he did unneccessary work. I would also give him a zero if I could.

First of all in my opinion this dentist does not even deserve a one but there was not a zero option available. I went to him several years ago and he claimed that I had several cavities in which he had filled. Just recently I found out that alot of these so called cavities and fillings were unnecessary. He never explained to me so that I could have a choice and make an informed decision on what I want to do with my teeth, that these so called cavitites and the slight surface shawdowing on the xrays could of just been watched to see even if they are anything to be concerned about. No, he led me to believe that I had to have them drilled out. I have one tooth where he said it had a cavitiy and so I went to see several other dentists who said no, there is no cavity so I left it alone and that was a long time ago and till this day I have no problems with this tooth at all. Second, he overtreated. On many of my teeth he drilled out more surfaces of the tooth than was necessary. In one tooth he drilled out 4 or more surfaces which led me to have a root canal because of the excessive drilling and unnecessary large filling. In my opinion, this dentist should not even be called a dentist/doctor because I believe that he does not have the patients best interest or care about the well being of the patient as a trusted healthcare professional should. A good dentist who cares about the best interest of the patient would want and try to preserve a healthy tooth, and not perform any unnecessary drilling for their own interest.

I was not happy with this dentist at all!!!! I have a young daughter who is terrified of dentists because of him. He was insensitive and yelled at her when she said she was afraid and called her a baby. She's only 7 of course she's scared. My most recent visit with him she was so terrified she bolted out of the chair and he ripped the paper bib off her neck and told her to leave. Trust me we will never be back and I will never suggest him to anyone with children. I would encourage parents to find a different dentist!!

Hey calkk1's, you are right about this dentist. I also had a bad experience with this dentist. He is the worst ever. He over treats and drills out more surfaces of the tooth than is necessary. The more surfaces that he drills on, the more money he charges and makes. Hmmmm? not to mention he misdiagnosed many cavities that he claimed I had and never did.
