 2009 I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.  I wish I saw the other ratings before I went to him.  I had the same issue as others -- he told me I had all kinds of cavities (my previous dentist was very thorough...I found this hard to believe), and he was going to start doing work without even explaining anything to me and never looked me in the eyes when he was talking to me.  He ended up drilling out the filling from a root canal I had years ago, and now it is hot and cold sensitive.  I am also wondering if he drilled too much out and if he did unneccessary work.  I would also give him a zero if I could.

  Please email me because I would like to tell you more about this dentist and I 'm sure when I share with you this information you will learn alot more about what he did to your teeth as I had to find out for myself.  Are experiences sound similar as well as other people I know.  My email address is redtp1@aol.com.  For anyone else who reads this and would like to learn more or has any experience to share feel free to email me as well.

As a follow up to this comment, I went to another dentist.  The new dentists said I did NOT have all of those cavities.  I asked him if the one that I let Dr. Howell fill was a cavity, and he responded, 'Well, I did not see a cavity on the xrays you brought in from Dr. Howell.'   So now I have a filling where I did not need one!
