2008 |
i have been seeing dr. r for over 5 years and i am female and have never had anything less than quality care from him. he listens to me, walks me to the lab and answers all my questions. he treats me respectfully and makes me feel as if i am the most important person the entire time i'm with him. i have no idea how he has gotten even one bad rating. i think you get what you put into a drs appt and have to be proactive. he acknowledges all my concerns and even took my vitals when his nurse was busy. when was the last time a doctor took your blood pressure? do any even know how to do it anymore? i have asked him to do additional blood work not related to my thyroid and he always is more than happy. i'm sorry some have had bad experiences but how are their experiences with other doctors? i like that he dictates while you are sitting there and have corrected him when he misstates something with no retaliation from him. he is a quality physician and i trust him implicitly with my care.

I am looking for a GOOD thyroid doctor - I have hypothyroidism..I want to get put on desiccated thyroid medicine like Armour - this synthroid is NOT working.... is this doctor open to suggestions? Does he listen to you when your labs are within range but you feel terrible?
