2011 This is from a real patient, not from office staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Rassael's for a little over a year, and I have had one good experience after the next with him. He consistently takes extra time to answer my many questions. He has suggested I wait a few years on (expensive) surgery until it will benefit me more, and offered less invasive alternatives. He performed laser skin surgery on me and the results were excellent. I am a regular customer, and feel that he, his sister and his staff are all kind and trustworthy.  Mojdan even suggested I to hold off on a botox treatment - an easy few hundred bucks for the office - if that was their priority.  I feel pretty well looked after there.

I don't know what went wrong with the person/s who are complaining here, and I'm not saying that accidents did not happen, but I have to wonder - when you first realized something went wrong, did you even try to ask Dr. Rassael for his help to repair the problem? Because I think if you had, he would have worked patiently to help make you whole. Okay - someone got a million dollars - but I'm not convinced it couldn't have been solved another, better way. How you respond to trouble can greatly change the outcome.  Personally, I like Dr Rassael very much, and trust him with my face!

Updated by Admin, Dec-1-2011, to show the updated summary from the medical board:

Reprimand; Probation for a minimum of 3 years with terms and conditions and a fine of $30,000 to be paid within 6 months. The Board found that the physician failed to keep adequate medical records, solicited or advertised in violation of the law, practiced medicine with unauthorized persons, and was guilty of unprofessional conduct in the practice of medicine.

Ahimsa, in her comment posted 9/9/11 at 6:17 am has directly copied and posted a section of the Physician Profile from the Maryland Board  of Physicians' website.  The summary of the disciplinary action originally posted had incorrect information.  The Maryland Board did not find that Dr. Rassael failed to meet the standard of quality care.  The correct information is posted at 9/12/11 at 9:50 am when again the Maryland Board website has been copied and pasted.      The second posting is correct and has no mention that Dr. Rassael failed to meet the standard of care.  He did meet the standard of quality care, and was found to have violated other aspects of the Maryland medical practice act.

Yeah he was guilty of many other things including unprofessional conduct. His license to practice medicine is on probation and just because he was not found guilty does not mean he met the standard of quality care. I was there he did not meet the standard of mediocre care. The man was a psycho and a fraud

He also had a deal on living social since this conviction where he used his middle name and implied once again that he had some sort of certification. He is trash and anyone who uses his unprofessional services deserves whatever happens to them given the wealth of public records detailing his unethical practices.
