always waited atleast 1.5hrs, some times as much as 3 hours (i was going to office every 3-5 months, and this was a consistent thing). there was never an apology. i feel that a doctor that consistently overbooks patients is inconsiderate and selfish - with no thought for his patients. also, didnt listen to me. looked at bloodtests and disregarded what i said about not feeling well. would say i was fine, and dismiss it as me getting older or 'female' issues, but not my thyroid. (i wasnt even 30yrs old). between the waiting time and the non-personal technical way of approaching caring for his patients i told him i was going to switch doctors. he didnt care. i went to another doctor in the area and had wonderful service, and never waited more than 30m.

Ed Merker could not be less interested in his patients or his job. He's in such a rush and barely gives you time to talk about your issues. I wonder if he isn't on some type of stimulant. He forgets to take vital bloodwork and just figures he'll have you come back to do that. He claims to be a specialist in areas that he knows nothing ... I mean nothing, about. It's shocking. He doesn't care to investigate much further than the basics of your problems or symptoms. If he can't find the problem, it doesn't exist as far as he's concerned.
