've replied to posts on here before regarding this man. NOW I'm posting OUR story. In 2006, my husband was knocked unconscious by a tree falling on his head. 6 months later, he started grand mal seizuires. It took 4 hospitals, and one brilliant ER physician to put 2 and 2 together. We've already been through Dr. Paul Elliot, another QUACK, but that's not today's reason for writing. I noted that in March, I wrote a comment that Dr. Eduardo Borges had told my husband that the seizures & symptoms were all in his head and he needed a shrink. He wasn't due back until 9/11, and I had to argue with the staff that something had 'changed: amd my husband was getting worse with the blackouts & anmnesia & some type of seizure I couldn't see, where he was biting his tongue and completely losing track of time. FINALLY we got a next day appt, (yesterday June 7th!) Whe Dr. Borges SAW us, he yelled, and said 'THOUGHT YOU'D NEVER BE BACK!' We calmly said, 'well we are'! My husband had previously threatened to throw him out his 5 story window, so he wasn';t too fond of my husband anymore, but I sat & spoke & listened calmly. Told him new symptoms, said I did research, and that the good DOC told me prior there were NO SUCH THINGS as 1)absence seizures, 2)petitmal seizures, OR 3) blackouts & memory loss that my husband was getting. The ONLY thing he repeated over & over again, no matter HOW MUCH MEDICAL jargon & FACT was thrown his way, was that we BOTH needed a psychiatrist! I suggested another EEG, or another MRI, OR a medication review & possible adjustment... because my husband has been losing time, and his seizures have worsened. I reminded him that HIS medical BS wouldn't go far with me, because I was a nurse & I KNEW what he was saying & it was BS! He screamed at us to leave his office, never come back! Honestly, all my years in the health field...I've NEVER been talked down to by a doctor in my life! I put an ad on craigslist looking for others who have shared similar experiences, but my ad was removed overnight! This guy's hammer is coming down & he knows it. WE ALL need to band together with one of those medical malpractice attorneys & file suit against this Eduardo Borges! There is NO telling HOW MANY lives he has or is in the process of ruining at this point in time! WHAT DO WE DO!!!??? laleone2@yahoo.com |

I just went to this QUACK of a doctor who told me my paralysis was ALL IN MY HEAD!Instead of trying to find the root cause,he gave me 5 min. in his office after the little test he did and gave me the number to a mental health facility!This unfortunately was the 2nd time i've had to deal with this so called Dr.My referring doctor had asked for more testing,but Borges said that he didn't have to do it as he already knew I didn't have what my other,MUCH more qualified neurosurgeon suspects as he has been a neurologist long enough.Minimal testing(not even close to what my other Dr.ORDERED).I had been hospitalized previously and this quack is who they sent me in the hospital.He MISDIAGNOSED me with epilepsy,put me on a medication I didn't need to be on which was later confirmed at another hospital after a sinilar episode with the exact same test Borges did at the other hospital.,was completely rude,arrogant and dismissive not only to me but to my family as well.I obtained my records from that visit in which he also slandered the living daylights out of myself and family.THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A DOCTOR NEEDS TO HAVE HIS LICENSE TAKEN AWAY PERMANENTLY!he also has moved to Port saint Lucie family and Heart Institute,near the hospital on Hillmoor Dr.DO NOT LET ANYONE YOU KNOW GO TO THIS MAN.His brand of so called medicine may just cost you your life!MY SCORE FOR THIS JACK*&^ IS A NEGATIVE 1000!for him,staff,equipment and that so called piece of crap office that's full of mold in PSL.ANYONE who has written here or went to him,PLEASE PLEASE file a formal complaint against him so that maybe we can get this quack out of medicine before he hurts anyone else!Also he was very sexist and told me women have hysteria,not men and that women are weaker than men,so I needed to get therapy not a diagnosis from him,scary considering we already have enough evidence for the disease which is often fatal,he was supposed to do the final testing to confirm it,and didnt.Now i am getting worse daily with no one to turn to as all I have is share of cost medicaid,and no one else will take it.I am disabled already and cant afford a doctor visit fee for another neurologist to help.God help anyone that sees this man.

Rude staff - They were doing me a favor by taking my $$ The doctor just talked and didn't listen. - 5 mins in the office for $195.00 cash Condescending - He knew how I felt, I didn't know what I was taking about Arrogant - I was wasting his time Dismissive - Pushed to other doctors - unwilling to help. Incompetent - Tests from another Doctor revealed the truth, far from his supposed diagnosis.
