Dr. Vincent (Wen-Sun) Yu did an unauthorized and unnecessary surgery on me to steal from my insurance company. Dr. Yu agreed with me that he would do a laparoscop on my right fallopian tube to check for any malignancy without removing it, but he removed it. The pathology came out negative and showed the fallopian tube was normal. I found out my fallopian tube was removed and gone only after I woke up in the recovery room. Now I’m without a fallopian tube, and I have to live without it for the rest of my life. I could not possibly just get a replacement and put it back where it was. I cried silently for many months. I’m now suffering from horrible hormone imbalance with only my left fallopian tube left intact. Dr. Yu did this unauthorized surgery to make money from my PPO insurance with Aetna. He knew if he did only a laparoscopy and biopsy, he would not make much money from my insurance, but a surgical procedure removing the fallopian tube made him thousands, along with a big tax write-off for his contract discount with Aetna. Now I know Dr. Yu is a dirty and fraudulent OBGYN doctor. He made easy money on me by taking out my female organ without my consent. I reported Dr. Yu to the medical board and hired an attorney. But my attorney said the maximum judgment from a malpractice lawsuit against a doctor is $250,000. She said by the time we win the case, all the expenses incurred including expert witnesses, etc., would exceed the $250,000 judgment. I shall be crying silently for the rest of my life over what Dr. Yu did to me, over my forever-lost fallopian tube. It’s forever gone. |
