I broke my nose as a child and had undergone several surgeries to both fix my breathing and the appearance of my nose. The last surgery I had by a different doctor dramatically changed the look of my nose and not in a good way--it was asymmetrical and turned up. I worried for years that my nose was beyond repair. I was also terrified to let anyone else perform surgery out of fear that it could potentially turn out even worse than it was. After much research, I kept being led back to Dr. Toriumi. I made an appointment and flew to Chicago. His bedside manner immediately put me at ease. I felt comfortable asking questions, expressing my doubts, and he always made me feel reassured. I took a leap of faith and had another revision rhinoplasty and I couldn't be happier with the result. It looks very natural, and I can finally breath! I would highly recommend Dr. Toriumi to anyone considering a revision. He literally changed my life. |
