This doctor is rude, disrespectful, arrogant and has absolutely no people/social skills. Unfortunately, this doctor was consulted on my care while I was hospitalized and I had no choice in his selection. Fortunately, my insurance allows me to choose my specialists so I will certainly select a different GI MD for my outpatient care. There are many better GI docs in Austin who know how to treat and talk to patients in a professional manner, so I will NEVER see this guy again. Avoid him at all costs if you can. It's bad enough being sick, but when the doc treats you like dirt on top of that, it just isn't worth putting up with.
