There's another comment below mine that I believe unjustly brings Dr. Moniaks' reputation to a debate. This accuser states many charges of wrongdoing and even goes as far as to claim that he 'almost killed' her without providing any justification on her part for making such accusations. I believe simply that if one is to shout out such slanderous statements, one should also state the reasons for his or her comments.

With that said and out of the way I'd like to write my comment now.

I am 33 weeks pregnant with my second child and I was new to Orange County when I set an appointment to speak with Dr. Moniak. We sat in his office in Newport Beach and he let me ask him every single silly question I could conjure up. I did not feel rushed nor did I feel intimidated. He treated me with respect and great hospitality. It was then that I had decided I'd like Dr. Moniak to see over my care throughout my pregnancy.

It had been nearly three and a half years since the birth of my son and naturally I was nervous. The doctor who cared for me then had been my doctor for six years and through out my pregnancy would rush me in and rush me out of her office. Though her attention to her patients (or possibly just me) was minimal at best I put up with it due to her past record of excellence.

I can tell you this, Dr. Moniak is one of the most attentive doctors I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Through my 33 weeks of pregnancy so far, he has remained consistant in his care with me and cautious of his suggestions to me through some complications encountered earlier on.

I trust Dr. Moniak to help guide me in my decisions as I come closer to my due date and look forward to my appointment on Monday.
