I recently called in becasue I woke up at 4am with an excruciating headache and a blood pressure reading of 161 over 98. I could not get my pressure down and I have not been diagnosed with high blood pressure. I called the office to find out if I could come in. It took almost 5 minutes to get through. When I finally reached the 'patient emergency line' I was told I had to call back to try to get an apponitment - the receptionist would not transfer me. When I finally got through again I was told there was only one doctor and they had a full schedule. She took a message and said someone would call me back. That was two days ago. I ended up in the er. If I would have had a heart attack or stroke I would have sued. This was absolute negligence and malpractice.
