To SickAndStressesOut - have you ever been to a place of business and not been satisfied with they service you were being provided? If so, did you ask to speak with someone in authority? Whenever I am in a similar situation, I always ask to speak to a supervisor - in this case, I would have asked to speak to Dr. Mitchell herself. I understand completely what you may have experienced. One member of Dr. Mitchell's support staff is sometimes abrasive, and it took me a while to get to know how he operates, but now, I understand his personality and know how to deal with him. I fully understand why it would have been a turn off to you, but rest assured that her support staff is competent, if not kind and gentle all the time - but he doesn't need to be since he isn;t the person looking after your health concerns. He is however, looking out for her business - its not personal at all. I speak as a patient of Dr. Mitchell for over 10 years, who met her before she had her own practice while she was a staff physician at a larger doctor's office, and she is still taking care of me. Not only do I see her, my entire family sees her, and I have sent no less than a dozen other patients to her, including my boss, his minister wife, and other people who I both love and care deeply about, I would not do this if there was one iota of concern about the level of care these loved ones would receive from Dr, Brenda Mitchell. Let me suggest that if you can put that bad experience behind you, try again, and this time, if a man answers the telephone, call back the next day. She has a new receptionist/assistant who will not be abrasive and will handle your concerns in a more compassionate manner. |
