Dr. Wilson has been my internist for many years. When I visit her for an exam, she is very thorough and asks confirming questions, we discuss any lab work or other tests required in detail, and she is knowledgeable about many new treatments and care approaches. I am consumer-oriented when it comes to health care. I want a doctor to care about my overall health, be ready and willing to refer me to a spacialist is necessary, be available (e.g. not have to wait too long for an apppointment), fit me in if there is an illness, and listen to and discuss my point of view about medications, care, etc. Dr. Wilson is right on the money in all categories. In addition, she is calm, rational, friendly, and down to earth. When my son graduated from pediatrics, I suggested Dr. Wilson to him as primary care and he is also pleased with her. She had a nursing home practice at one time and is sensitive to the needs of the elderly - my 88 year old mother is also Dr. Wilson's patient, and is very happy with her as well. I would recommend her to anyone as a very good choice for an internist / family care practitioner. |
