PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU MAKE A CHOICE!! I sent Dr Vagotis this letter in Aug 06. 1 year after my surgery! All in all I spent $8600.00 for Dr and surgery fees, $25 for prescriptions and I was told 1 week off of work, I ended up being out for 21 days(NOT PAID!!)  All this, to feel worse then before. I think about this everyday!  If I can help anyone with research, please learn from this!

Dr. Vagotis,

  I am writing this letter in regards to the abdomnioplasty  that I had on August 16th,2005.  I just wanted you to know how extremely disappointed I am in the outcome.  I visited your office for all of the follow up appointments and voiced my concerns and you stated that results would be clear 1 year after surgery.  And at 1 appointment I was sent into the other room to be quoted a price in the $4000.00 range to “fix” my concerns.   Well it has been a year and I am more self conscious then every because I did the surgery in order to feel good about myself,  feel good in my clothes and fit in them correctly. Now I have to hide the sides where the incisions stick out.  I do not feel good at all.  I should have just left my body the way it was.   If this was going to be the outcome then I wish you would have told me.  I know you have done this procedure before, so you know better then I and I trusted that.     

  I have spent many sleepless nights feeling guilty about spending all of that money on the surgery and the time off I took from work to be this unhappy.   Not to mention what I have put my husband and family through. I am thankful for their patience and understanding.

I would not recommend this procedure to anyone at least until they have heard testimonials and all of the facts from patients that have had this done before.

After Dr Vagotis received this letter, I received a phone call from the OFFICE MANAGER! She offered to reduce the price to $2600.00!!  I said NO!!  I could not believe this.  The only  thing that made me feel better is that by making that offer...it was somewhat admitting that something was done incorrect!  If anybody would like to see my BEFORE and AFTER pics, please contact me:  christinebush11@yahoo.com  I have nothing to hide!!!

I've just had my fourth and last appt. with Dr. Karasek. He and his staff are rude and slow to respond. My pain issue has only worsened. Stay away.

I am a hard patient to please. I expect my doctor and his staff to be professional, caring and most important , knowledgeable about my problem and his/her specialty. I was given Dr. Taormina's name from a co-worker who had a previous procedure wand was very happy with him. I decided to try as I had a previous poor experience at Sumitt Gastro with a DO.
My first visit was very good...good bedside manner, took the time to review my problem and then took time to explain his recommendations and why he was doing what he wanted to do.  My problem required a colonoscopy and hemorrhoid treatment...I had a painless exam and my " problems " are now gone completely - he treated my hemorrhoids and addressed  my concern over possible colon cancer, etc. He is one of the few physicians I like ...check him out !  Joe

Dr. Randall Haworth
Beverly Hills, CA

Dr Haworth is a very sought after surgeon therefore his waiting times and prices are both high. But his talent, artistic eye and manner are beyond reproach. Top of his field in both face and body. I had a tummy tuck and later followed by a facelift (VERY natural and got rid of my horrible jowls and neck) , brow lift and rhinoplasty. A life-changer for me.
