Attack of the Clones
by Earl Thurston09/05/08
The spammers made a clone of DoctorScorecard. They scraped most of the comments from DoctorScorecard and put it on a new site. The clone is at doctordecision.com and is in no way affiliated with DoctorScorecard. I wonder who is behind the new website? The video below shows a preview of the spammer website. Watch to the end of the video to see an interesting relationship between the spammers and a specific doctor.
The doctor's name shown on the front page of doctordecision.com, as of Sep-5-2008, was Dr. William Boothe. They have a script that cycles through a different list of spam links each time you load up their page. You will not see Dr. Boothe's name every time, but maybe once out of 5 page refreshes.
I've been watching their website for months. When their site first came online, Dr. William A. Boothe was the only doctor shown on the site.
The video below shows how Dr. Boothe is rated here at DoctorScorecard and then how he is shown at the spammer website (http://www.doctordecision.com/view52c3.html).

Previously deleted "Doctor William A. Boothe (Plano, TX) is the owner of this website."
Doctordecision.com is believed to have originated for several reasons: The continued efforts to disparage the owner of Doctorscorecard.com for not removing negative comments about him, and to anonymously post disparaging remarks against his competitors.
He is also behind the purchase of lasiksucks4u.com, another website which had negative comments about him."
Doctor William A. Boothe (Plano, TX) has a history of doing whatever it takes to get negative comments about him removed from the web. He is well known throughout the LASIK casualty community for previously posting a website listing all of his competitors lawsuits, his lawsuit against a casualty to silence him, and his assembly line lasik mill, to name a few.
I would hope anyone considering Doctor William A. Boothe (Plano, TX) for refractive (or any other) surgery to thoroughly research him before you make any decision.
Doing my own research and the number of emails I've received regarding Dr. Boothe, I personally would not trust him, but of course, that's my opinion.
